Inner Circle Trader concepts for gold, from the first premise to a full time-based execution model
ICT is a way of reading price as something delivered on purpose: engineered to reach liquidity and to rebalance inefficiency, and timed to specific windows of the trading day. This course teaches it in order, on gold, with every concept drawn as a candle chart and every model broken into a repeatable sequence. Work through it stage by stage. The whole course is published, so you can read straight through or jump to the module you need.
What this course is
A structured path from the core premise of the Inner Circle Trader method to a complete, rules-based way to read and trade XAUUSD. It is not a glossary of terms. Each module builds on the one before, every idea is shown on a drawn chart, and the course ends with a market maker model and a single checklist you can run on any session. The emphasis throughout is on the two things that make this ICT and not just structure trading: price delivery toward liquidity, and the time of day that delivery tends to happen.
How it is organised
Four stages. Foundations sets the premise and the language: what ICT actually claims, market structure the ICT way, and liquidity. Core PD arrays are the tools price delivers to: fair value gaps, order blocks, breakers, premium and discount, and the optimal trade entry. Time and models adds the dimension most methods ignore: displacement, killzones, the Judas swing, power of three, SMT divergence and inducement. The Execution system makes it tradeable: daily bias, the silver bullet, the 2022 entry model and the full market maker model with a final checklist.
The full curriculum
Eighteen modules, each a drawn lesson on gold. The whole course is live, so every module is linked.
The course runs in four stages. Start at Module 1 even if you have traded for years, because ICT is a precise vocabulary of time and price and the method only becomes repeatable once the terms are exact. The whole course is published, so every module below is a live link.
Foundations
- 01. What Is ICT (Inner Circle Trader)
The premise: price is delivered by an algorithm that seeks liquidity and rebalances inefficiency. - 02. ICT Market Structure: BOS, MSS and CHoCH
Swing points, break of structure, the market structure shift and change of character. - 03. Liquidity: Buy-side and Sell-side
Where stops rest, equal highs and lows, trendline liquidity and the raid.
Core PD Arrays
- 04. Fair Value Gaps and Imbalance
The three-candle gap, BISI and SIBI, consequent encroachment and the inversion FVG. - 05. Order Blocks the ICT Way
The last opposing candle before displacement, the mean threshold and what makes one valid. - 06. Breaker and Mitigation Blocks
Failed order blocks that flip, and the block price returns to mitigate. - 07. Premium, Discount and PD Arrays
The dealing range, equilibrium and stacking price delivery arrays for a decision. - 08. Optimal Trade Entry (OTE)
The 0.62 to 0.79 retracement, the 0.705 sweet spot and confluence with an FVG or OB.
Time and Models
- 09. Displacement and Market Structure Shift
The energetic move that leaves an FVG and confirms a shift in intent. - 10. ICT Killzones and Session Timing
The London, New York and London-close windows in ET, and when gold actually delivers. - 11. The Judas Swing
The false move at the session open that raids liquidity before the true direction. - 12. Power of Three (AMD)
Accumulation, manipulation and distribution, and how the daily candle is built. - 13. SMT Divergence
Correlated markets disagreeing: XAU against DXY and silver as a sweep confirmation. - 14. Inducement and Liquidity Engineering
Liquidity left on purpose to attract traders before the real move.
Execution System
- 15. Daily Bias and Higher-Timeframe Framework
The draw on liquidity, HTF arrays and a repeatable way to form a daily bias. - 16. The Silver Bullet Setup
The one-hour windows and the sweep-then-FVG entry inside them. - 17. The ICT 2022 Entry Model
Sweep, displacement, FVG, entry: the five-step model drawn step by step. - 18. Market Maker Model and Final System
The buy and sell models and the full checklist that ties the course together.
How to use it with the live chart
Read a module, then open the free live XAUUSD chart and find one real example of what you just read, at the time of day the module describes. One, not ten. The auto-drawn structure, liquidity and zones on the chart are the same arrays this course teaches by hand, so you can check your reading against them while you learn to see delivery in real time.
FAQ
Is this course free?
Yes. Every module is a free article on this site. Read them in order and practise on the live chart during the sessions the course names.
Do I need any paid tools or indicators?
No. ICT is read from raw candles, time and price. A chart that shows candles, the session times and a few drawn levels is enough. The live chart here already plots structure, liquidity and zones if you want to check your own reading.
Is ICT the same as SMC? How is this different from your SMC course?
They overlap heavily, and the SMC course covers much of the same structure and liquidity material. This ICT course keeps ICT's own framing: price delivery toward specific liquidity pools, the named PD arrays, and above all time, killzones, the Judas swing, power of three and session-specific models like the silver bullet. If you have done the SMC course, treat this one as the time-based and model-driven layer on top, not a repeat.
Which timeframe and session is this for?
ICT is explicitly multi-timeframe and time-of-day based. Higher timeframes set the daily bias and the draw on liquidity; the killzones around the London and New York opens are where the entries are taken. Most examples use H1 and M15 with the clock in mind, because that is where the method is clearest on gold.
Does ICT guarantee profits?
No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. This is an educational framework for reading price. It can sharpen when and where you act, but outcome depends on risk control, discipline and screen time. The execution stage spends as much effort on risk and routine as on entries for that reason.
