The XAUUSDLiveChart Research Desk
Every guide, blog post and chart methodology on this site is produced and reviewed by the XAUUSDLiveChart Research Desk: a small team of chart-focused gold traders and software developers who build and maintain the live chart engine. We publish as a desk rather than under individual bylines, and this page explains exactly what we are responsible for.
Who we are
We are traders and developers who follow the XAU/USD market daily and build rules-based charting tools. We are not licensed financial advisors, we do not manage money, and nothing on this site is investment advice. Our experience is practical: watching gold price action across sessions, building and testing the detection engines behind the live chart, and writing down what the market actually shows rather than what sells.
What the desk is responsible for
Three things. First, the chart methodology: how support and resistance, supply and demand, order blocks, market structure and liquidity are calculated. Every rule there is implemented in code and runs on closed candles. Second, the guides and blog: plain-English explanations of how the gold market works, reviewed against the behavior we can verify on our own chart data. Third, honesty of labeling: scores on this site are counts of conditions met, never a probability of profit, and estimates are labeled as estimates. Our data sources page documents where the numbers come from.
How content is produced and reviewed
Definitions of standard instruments, sessions and economic releases are checked against primary sources such as official economic-data agencies and exchange documentation. Claims about how our own chart behaves are checked against the engine code and live output before publishing. Worked examples are dated so a reader (or a search engine) never mistakes an old snapshot for the current market.
Corrections policy
If we got a fact wrong, we want to know. Report it via the contact page. Verified factual errors are corrected in the article itself, and material corrections are noted in the text. Stale worked examples are either updated or clearly date-stamped.
What we never do
We do not sell trading signals, we do not promise win rates or returns, we do not present backtests as guarantees, and we do not publish predictions dressed up as certainty. Where a method has no demonstrated edge, we say so. See our editorial policy and risk disclosure.
