The Structure menu, explained

The Structure menu gathers the tools that read price's skeleton: swing sequence, structural breaks and the patterns built from them. Each toggle draws one honest layer, computed on closed candles only, so nothing repaints after the fact. This tour explains what each layer shows so you can summon exactly the view a question needs.

Break markers

The BOS/CHoCH toggle draws horizontal level-lines from each broken swing to its breaking candle, labelled by break type: continuation breaks, character changes and momentum shifts, the vocabulary from the structure breaks guide. Gray tags mark the swing sequence itself. This is the first toggle to learn; everything else assumes its story.

Swing and level labels

The high-low toggle labels the swing ladder explicitly for trend reading at a glance. The 1-2-3 tool marks the classic reversal sequence when it completes. Both are reading aids: they change no analysis, they surface it.

Patterns with measured targets

The chart patterns toggle detects classical formations, double and triple tops and bottoms, wedges, and draws their necklines with textbook measured targets. Formation status distinguishes forming from confirmed, keeping the honest gap between a shape and a signal, in the spirit of the pattern notes.

The supporting cast

Reversal radar aggregates early-warning conditions; the wave tool marks impulse sequences when strict rules are met; the momentum-cycle view tracks swing rhythm. These are context layers, most useful in review and least suited to being trade triggers alone.

Using the menu sanely

One structural question, one or two toggles. Break markers plus swing labels answer most sessions. Stack everything and the chart shouts; the menu exists so you can make it speak one clear sentence at a time.
