The <a href="/live-chart">live chart</a> streams real-time gold prices from a single market data feed with a full analysis toolkit, and like any capable tool it rewards two minutes of orientation. This quickstart covers the layout, the menu logic and a sensible first configuration, so the deeper guides can build on a chart you already navigate comfortably.

The frame row

Across the top: timeframe buttons from one minute to monthly. The chart keeps live prices ticking into the current candle on every frame, and your selected frame persists between visits. Start on H1 for context, per the timeframe guide, and drop lower only with a reason.

Chart types and appearance

Beside the theme picker sit the display controls: candles, line or Renko views, custom background and text colours, and font sizing. Renko brings its own brick-size control. Every choice saves locally and survives refresh: set once, forget.

The menu system

Analysis tools live in grouped dropdowns: Structure, Setups, Zones, Levels, Liquidity, Flow, Sessions and Draw. Each button toggles one overlay; active counts show on the menu label. The philosophy is opt-in: the default chart is clean, and you summon only what today's question needs.

A sane starter layout

Begin with three toggles: structure markers from the Structure menu, one support-resistance view from Levels, and the session boxes from Sessions. Learn to read those fluently before adding anything else; every additional overlay costs attention, and attention is the scarce resource.

Alerts and screenshots

The Alert toggle arms an audible notice when price enters marked zones, useful for walking away from the screen. The Screenshot button captures the current view for journals or sharing, feeding directly into a journaling habit.
